ROBERTO SIAGRI: Italians: from inventors to innovators

Having graduated in physics from Trieste university, Siagri worked from 1986 to 1992 for HTE in Reana del Rojale, Udine, a society involved with development and research activities for the Asem group.
Having been one of its founders, he began to work for Eurotech in 1992, at first following marketing strategies, operative marketing, and sales. Since 2000 he has been its president and managing director and he is concerned with strategic planning and new business opportunities. From 2002 to 2003 he collaborated with the department of electronics, management, and mechanic at Udine university where he taught digital system electronics for the graduate course in electronic engineering.
During his career he has received various prizes and awards, amongst which the finance category “Businessman of 2006″ prize, awarded by Ernst & Young Italia, and the Economy prize for the 2005 edition of the “Lavoro e del progresso economico” prize, awarded by the Udine chamber of commerce, industry, and craftsmanship.
